HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY BRODY!!!
Today was a very special day in our house! It was Brody's first birthday! We woke him up singing Happy Birthday and giving him lots of hugs and kisses!! The whole day Ja and I were playing the "last year at this time we were....." game!! It is crazy that a whole year has gone by..... more like flown by!! We took Brody to the park to celebrate. I was happy that the weather was nice so that we could do this because he loves going to the play ground!! :)

There is a ramp at this park and Brody just loves going up and down it. Forget the playground equipment all he needs is this to be happy.

Peek-a-boo! I just love this pic because we are playing one of his favorite games with him and as you can see he is having so much fun!
It's like he was thinking.... "thanks for taking me to the park, this was fun!"
Singing happy Birthday and eating food we have never eaten before! I did not want him to have a cake because I wanted to save that for his Birthday party, but you have to have some special treat on your birthday!! So we gave him a cookie and ice cream.
........ and he loved it!! When it was all gone (more like when we took him away from it) he pointed to the bowl and wanted more. hahah that is why we don't give him cookies and ice cream every day! :)
Yeah opening his presents. He got a big truck that has a ramp for three little cars to go down. When we were at Toys R Us he saw this toy and would not let go of it. So needless to say we knew it was going to be a hit. 
He also got the Laugh and Learn House. This has all kinds of things for him to play with and should keep him busy for hours!!
Marmee and Pops came over and gave him his wagon. This is an awesome wagon and we can't wait to take him on a walk tomorrow in this thing! He is going to love it!
He had a great Birthday and I am sure is having sweet dreams right now about playing with his new toys tomorrow! :)

What a great birthday celebration. I love the park pictures. It really shows the true Brody. Being outside and having fun. What a cutie!

Happy Birthday Brody Ja! We have really loved watching you grow and learn so much in this first year. We can't believe you are already one! It looks like you had lots of fun at the park. What a great way to celebrate. And your mom and dad gave you ice cream and a cookie? HOW COOL! You won't know what to think come Saturday when you eat your first piece of cake. Your new toys look like they will keep you entertained. We love you bunches and are so proud to be your aunt and uncle. XOXO Happy Birthday!
