Let it snow!

Well there is not a whole lot going on here, except for staying warm and playing in the snow! Last year Brody did not really like the snow or how cold and wet it was. This year he really liked it and enjoyed being outside.

He wanted Teddy to come and play with him outside, I had to explain to him that we could not get him wet, so I held him while we were out there.

We had a lot of fun outside the last couple of days, but I am very glad the snow is melting!

I think this picture is so cute! Brody looks so old here! He looks like he is going to be a big brother here. Everyone says that he will look even older when the baby comes, and I can see that!

Our Week

We have not been very busy this week, just trying to get some things done and have fun outside while the weather was nice. Brody also got to go and play with Jasmine at her house! They are so cute together and have a lot of fun playing together.

Here they are coloring with some of Jasmine's markers, they would run up and down the hall way and in their kitchen chasing each other. :) They also played hide and seek.... which they are not very good at because when one would say "ready or not here I come", the other would say "here I am", and give away their hiding spot. :)

Playing a fishing game of Jasmine's

We got to go outside and practice riding Brody's bike. He is still not very good at using the pedals and wants to use his feet to get places instead. This is something that we are going to have to work on in the spring. He is doing very good at his potty training and we are making a lot of progress to getting out of diapers! We are so proud of him and try to make new things that he does very special for him so that he knows it is a big deal! :)

I am now 36 weeks. It is crazy to me at how low she is! I carried Brody much higher than her and he never really dropped. However she is very low which makes it very hard to sit down without my comfy pants on. :) I am pretty much in them all day, unless we are going somewhere and then right when I get home I change back into them. :) I am feeling good except for not getting much sleep at night and for starting to feel sick again in the morning. We are definitely getting ready for her to come and can't believe she will be here in less then a month! I am now going to the doctor every week, which makes me realize that soon this little girl is going to come!!

Fun with Daddy!!

Well, this is Jason and I thought I would make a post today. Brody and I had a guys day today and it was very fun! We decided to stay home while Mommy went and did some shopping for herself and by herself. I know that she really enjoyed it and so did we. Here are a few pics from the day.

The picture above is of Brody being a firefighter. He is chasing the fire that we have in the living room(not a real fire don't worry). I couldn't believe that he actually kept the goggles and headphones on.

This picture is of Brody on the Brody Express!! He really enjoyed this today. We made a really big train with pillows, in fact most of the pillows from the house and then we went and picked up all his stuffed animals one by one and they boarded the Brody Express!! He loves using his imagination and so this was really fun for him and me. I usually set near the back cause of course he wanted to drive.

Another picture from the caboose of the train!! As you can see we had almost every animal on the train and it was a full load!! It was a good day off for me to be able to stay home with Brody and to play all day. I know that he had alot of fun and I did too.

Family Fun!

Here is a pic of Ja and Brody right before we went over and had a watch party at Ja's parents house for the OU game. Although we did not win I had to put these pictures up because I think they are so cute of Brody smiling at the camera.
I am now 34 weeks along and we are really getting ready for our little girl to join us!

Our friends Jason, Julia, Jasmine and Jocelyn asked us to go to Chucky Cheese with them! It was so much fun and the kids had a blast playing all the games! Brody really loved the cars and enjoyed driving them. It really did not matter if they were moving or not he just wanted to drive them.

Brody and Jasmine playing ski ball. I think the dad's have more fun on this game than the kids! :) Brody and Jasmine's ball would not get very far and would just keep coming back down for them to throw again. So the dad's would throw the balls in the holes to win them some tickets. :) We all had a great time and can't wait to go again with them!

No this is not our little girl, and no Brody is not playing with baby dolls! I have heard that it is a good idea to get out a baby doll and practice with your toddler on how to treat the baby when they are born. We practiced being very gentle with her, I showed him how I was going to swaddle her and burp her, and then let Brody practice holding her. We talked about how we should not hit the baby or poke them in the eye. So hopefully it will help when she comes. :) Many people have asked if Brody understands that we are going to have another baby. I think he does, but I don't think he understands how his world is going to change. :) He knows she is in my stomach and has felt her really moving around in there! When he feels her he cracks up at how much she is moving! :) Tonight before bed he asked if he could give his sister a kiss and a hug, so he kissed and hugged my stomach. How cute!

Christmas Morning

Merry Christmas! We had a great Christmas this year! It was a lot of fun and good times with each of our families. Brody is loving playing with all of his new toys that he got and we want to thank each of you for all that you gave him! Like any mom expecting their second child I have secretly put some toys back to bring out when his little sister comes, so that he will have some new fun toys to play with!! :)

On Christmas morning we woke up and saw what Santa had brought Brody with Marmee and Pops. We were glad they were able to come over and join us for Christmas breakfast since we would not see them the rest of the day.

Below is our family picture that would of been on our Christmas cards had we sent any out...... :)

Christmas morning

Santa brought Brody a new kitchen and some fun things to go with it. He also brought a train since every time you would ask Brody what he wanted for Christmas he would say a train. :) So Brody got what he asked for and some more. Here Pops is playing with some of Brody's new toys.

Here he is with his new train. Santa borrowed some of Brody's train tracks to connect onto his new bridge..... so smart of him!

Daddy showing Brody how to work his new toaster.

Looking at all the fun food and his new Kitchen that he got.

We had a great morning and after we were done with Santa and breakfast we headed over to Ja's family's house for the rest of the day.

Christmas with Ja's family

Aunt Heather and Uncle Drew were able to come in town and stay for awhile before Christmas. We really enjoyed spending a lot of time with them and I know Brody really got attached to them. :)

Aunt Heather and Uncle Drew brought their Wii so that we could all play it. We had a fun time and even Brody wanted to join in on the fun! He is ski jumping with Ja here. He was really trying to do it... it was very cute!

Here Aunt Heather is giving Brody and Lilly a fun back ride. :)

Uncle Jeremy is flying Brody ( in a bucket) up in the air. As you can tell by Brody's face, he really enjoyed this!

Grandma Nanna playing with Brody and Lilly. Brody better watch out Lilly has her eye on that air plane! :)

Here Brody is opening his presents on Christmas morning.

We thought this was a funny picture of Brody taking a picture of Heather and Drew. And yes he really did take their picture. :)

Lilly trying to push her new stroller and baby doll that we gave her.

Our family photo

Christmas with my family

My sister and Eric were able to come in town after Christmas, and that is when we celebrated the Holiday with my family. It was a lot of fun and we were busy the whole time they were here. :)

Marmee and Brody in their Santa aprons. :) We have a tradition of making Christmas cookies and icing them every year. This year Brody got to join in on the fun!

He really got into it and really enjoyed the sprinkles!!!

I think both Laney and Brody were tired from the days activities. :) Brody is using her as a back rest while he plays with his new piano. She is such a good dog to let him do that!!

Playing under the table is one of Brody's favorite pastimes! He will pretend it is a train, a boat, bus..... and so on. Here Aunt Amy, Teddy, and Laney are all joining in on the fun!

Uncle Eric and Aunt Amy helping Brody put together one of his new trucks they gave him. They will soon be having trucks and cars overtake their house as well since they are going to have a boy!!!! We are so excited for them and know they are going to love having a son!

We celebrated New Years a little early with a traditional New Years dinner and Brody is saying Happy New Years in his festive hat and glasses. :)
